Version 2 training course - 17th
Nov - 26th Nov 2010 The
next HDM-4 training course will
be lead by Pierre Joubert, and
is being organised by ENPC-Ponts
Formation Edition. The course
will be taking place in Paris,
France which has excellent
transport links. The course will
be conducted in ENGLISH. For

*** HDM-4 Version 2 is now
available in Spanish : a
project funded by
PIARC to translate the HDM-4
user interface and reports into
Spanish has been completed by
the
Mexican Institute of Transport
and is now available for
purchase and as an
update
for existing users.
Following the same offer for
English and French users
upgrading from HDM-4 Version 1,
users in Spanish speaking
countries are entitled to a
special price for a period of
one year.
This update to
HDM-4, HDM-4 Version 2.07, also
resolves a number of issues
identified in HDM-4. Existing
users should review the changes
to determine if they need to
update their existing software.

HDM-4 Version 2
Success:
as
HDMGlobal enters the fourth year of the HDM-4 concession we
are pleased to announce the continued success of HDM-4
Version 2 with strong sales during this period.
During the past four years over 620 HDM-4 Version 2 licences
have been sold to government agencies, funding agencies,
consultancies, academic and training organisations, and
individual.
These licences have been sold to over 100
different countries highlighting the world-wide usage of
HDM-4 Version 2.
During this period we have enabled
sales of the software through internet download making it
easier and quicker to obtain the software.
To build
on this success HDMGlobal has launched the HDM-4 User Group
to encourage and give users the ability to communicate as
well as conducting surveys and User Group meetings with
users to obtain feedback which is important to drive the
future development of the HDM-4.
With HDM-4 Version 2
being sold in so many countries to many different users we
are always keen to learn how the software is being used.
This is not only a useful way to learn how HDM-4 is being
used as a guide for future development, but users have
indicated they would like to know more about how others are
using the software and to have the opportunity to learn from
others experiences. To encourage this HDM-4 User Group will
invite users to write a short note describing how they have
successfully used HDM-4 and a prize will be available for
the note to be judged the best each period.

HDM-4 User Group Forum is now live. The forum aims to bring greater interactivity between the Consortium and the users, and to simplify the direct exchanges between users, to provide a platform from which varying approaches and methodologies are discussed between users and HDMGlobal. Use of the forum is for HDM-4 Version 2 licence holders only and requires registration.

HDM-4 Version 1.x Users IMPORTANT PLEASE READ : under the terms of the agreement HDMGlobal agreement with PIARC, technical support for HDM-4 Version 1.x will be available for the first year only. Therefore existing HDM-4 Version 1.x users should be aware that support for this version of the software will cease on 1st August 2006. Existing HDM-4 Version 1.x users are encouraged to take advantage of the discounted HDM-4 Version 2 upgrade price which is available for a limited period only.
