HDM-4 Version 2.07 Upgrade

HDM-4 Version 2.07 Upgrade is now available free to registered HDM-4 Version 2 licence holders by downloading from the HDMGlobal website. This upgrade introduces software support for the Spanish language as well as resolving a number of issues identified in HDM-4 Version 2.

1) LANGUAGE SUPPORT: The software user-interface for HDM-4 and its tools are now available in the Spanish language. Changes have been made to support the introduction of this language.  

2) RUNDATA EXPORT: The exported field "DISCFACTOR" is used to store the discount factor for a given year so that discounted costs can easily be computed from undiscounted cost streams. The precision of this field has been increased to improve the precision of these calculations.  

3) DOCUMENTATION: Installation has been updated to ensure that the latest version of the activation software is used to prevent the possible loss of the HDM-4 unlock code.  

4) IMPROVEMENTS: When upgrading from an Unsealed to a Bituminous pavement the pavement strength was not being computed correctly because the CBR attribute now used the equation was unset. This has now been resolved by requiring a user to enter the CBR of the new pavement. Users will be required to update there improvement standards with the required data.  

5) INSTALLATION: After installation the default French case studies could not be opened when the software was run in Demonstration or Educational licence modes. This has been resolved.  

6) SECTION: In the French language user-interface, after selecting the "Calculated SNP" method for specifying the pavement strength, the change was not saved and the "Structural Number" method was always selected. This has been corrected.  

7) IMPORT EXPORT: In an improvement standard, the choice between the after works width was not being imported correctly. This error has been resolved.
